2006 Woman of Achievement Dinner - June 13th

Another successful evening was enjoyed by those who attended the recent Women of Achievement Dinner at the Fremantle Sailing Club.

La Gioia delle Donne Italian women's choir entertained the audience with their joyous songs and dancing, encouraging everybody to clap and sing along.

Guest speaker Gningala Yarran-Clanton engaged the audience with the story of her journey to becoming the first ever Aboriginal state prosecutor in the supreme court of Western Australia.

The winner of the Woman of Achievement Award was Marie Donovan (Principal Consultant Speech and Learning). Marie was presented with her award by Sharyn O'Neill (Deputy Director General, Schools) Read more from Marie's Bio by following the link below.
