2007 Woman of Achievement Dinner - Challenges of Leadership

The Hon Minister for Education and Training, Mark McGowan presented the first award for 2007 to Janine Nairn in front of a sell-out crowd on Thursday night, the 8th of March at the Rydges Hotel Perth.

To celebrate International Women's Day the Women in Leadership Program of DET held the first of three Women of Achievement Dinners. Guests included A/Director General Sharyn O’Neill, Executive Director Curriculum Standards Chris Cook, Director Inclusive Education Kerry Usher & District Director West Coast Lesley Street. Guest Speakers for the night were Sarina Jan and Marion Faulker
The winner of the award went to Janine Nairn, Registrar at Lynwood SHS for her outstanding leadership and support of teachers and adminstration.
