Program Launch

The Promoting Women in Leadership Program commences with a formal launch which is a public commitment by the Department to the program.  It is attended by members of Corporate and State Education and Training Executives, and others who act as sponsors of the program’s participants.

The Director General of Education and Training launched the inaugural program in 2005. In supporting the program’s aims an inspirational address was given by Dr Penny Flett, CEO Brightwater Care Group Inc. on “Leadership – unlocking a few secrets”.
