Tailored Individual Programs

by WiL Admin last modified 17 August 2005, 05.32PM

Flexibility in professional learning ensures staff have access to a range of learning program. Through performance management processes, employees have opportunities to identify, reflect and be supported in accessing relevant and meaningful professional learning to ensure continued growth and development.

Tailored Individual Programs has been designed to enable staff to select their own professional learning program to suit their specific professional needs. Funding to undertake a tailored individual program is by way of application.

Some examples of opportunities that staff might like to incorporate into your program could include membership of Professional Associations (see related content), attendance at conferences and courses provided by the Leadership Centre of Western Australia or external providers such as the Institute of Public Administration Australia and the Australian Institute of Management.

Eligibility to apply for funding for a tailored program is available to Departmental employees who are currently substantive or acting public service officers at level 6 and above.
